L'Oréal Professionnel Talentspotting Grand Final
The Talentspotting competition, run by L’Oréal Professionnel, sees young hairdressing talent showcased on stage, in front of an audience and a panel of highly esteemed judges. 2008 saw the introduction of an exciting new Junior Art Team Category to be contended for in addition to the Individual Category.
The Grand Finalists from both categories went head-to-head in the race to be crowned this years Talentspotting winners on Monday 27th October at the magnificent Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel, London.
CS Media not only presented and directed the fabulous Grand Final but also produced all the Regional Competitions held throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, designing and providing the stylish set, stage, amazing lighting system, sound, video content, music and show management as well as organizing the logistics of venues, transport, accommodation and catering for the CS Media crew, L’Oréal staff, models, and judges.
As well as the thrilling competition itself, the evening also featured an amazing catwalk show, combining the hairdressing talent of the L’Oréal Professionnel hair team with models clad in spectacular fashion creations from the design graduates at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design.
Finally after much deliberation the judging panel of hairdressing industry icons named the Individual Category winner as Elaine Cooper from The Cats Hair Group in Dublin and the team from Charlie Miller, Edinburgh, took the Junior Art Team Category title.
