FIRST GREAT WESTERN – TRAINING VIDEOS

Train operating company First Great Western were keen to teach their staff the benefits of up-selling onboard drinks and snacks to passengers, to both increase revenue and improve the customer experience. As part of their new training regime, CS Media created a series of ‘good service, bad service’ videos which helped highlight the key opportunities staff have for increasing sales. The videos featured actual First Great Western staff and were shot at the company’s London headquarters, which features a life-size recreation of a typical train cabin and buffet car. The videos are now used in all FGW training sessions and the techniques highlighted have now become the new gold-standard practice for all staff.
